Our Bereavement Meal Mission is making a meaningful impact! 🕊️ Since starting in 2024 with a seed gift from the Gibbs Fund, this ministry—and our renovated kitchen—has allowed us to comfort families during their hardest moments.
• 2024: Served 10 families (358 people)
• 2025: Served 7 families (260 people)
• 2026 (So far): Served 4 families (215 people)
Every family has been deeply grateful for the meals and the private space to gather with loved ones. This mission is led by Linda Hodge and a dedicated team of 16 volunteers (plus Linda and Mike Spurgeon’s famous homemade rolls!).
Want to help? We welcome new volunteers to cook, set up, serve, or clean up.

It was a beautiful evening for our fish fry. Thank you to John Lakaner and Rob Viehman for cooking, to the Settles family for hosting, and to all who came and enjoyed the food and fellowship.

Join us for supper on Saturday, October 3rd, at 4:30 p.m. at the Settles' residence, 156 Hwy U. The church will provide the fish and drinks. You're invited to bring a side dish to share if desired. Bring a chair and a friend!
