The Nave
The stained glass windows in the nave symbolize the Act of Christian Worship. Seven of the ten windows are based on the Apostle’s Creed. Click the images below to enlarge.
- Praise Window – A symbol of worship, praise, adoration and prayer.
- Trinity Window – A symbol of the Trinity “Father, Son, and Holy Spirit”
- Nativity Window – Symbolizes “And in Jesus Christ His Only Son our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost; Born of the Virgin Mary.”
- Passion Window – Symbolizes “Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell; The third day he arose again from the dead.”
- Agnus Dei Window – Symbolizes “And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.”
- Pentecost Window – Symbolizes “I believe in the Holy Ghost.”
- Consecration Window – Symbolizes our Christian Commitment
- Triumph Window – Symbolizes “The resurrection of the body; and the Life Everlasting.”
- Stewardship Window – Symbolizes our Christian Stewardship; time, talents, and material possessions.
- Oikoumene Window – Symbolizes “I believe in the Holy Catholic Church, The Communion of Saints, The Forgiveness of Sins.”
