The 87th annual Groundhog Supper will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015, in Roper Hall. All men and boys of the community are welcome. The guest speaker will be a wildlife biologist from the Missouri Department of Conservation who will give a presentation on groundhogs, elk, black bear, and chronic wasting disease.
Admission is free, but an offering will be taken to benefit the Steelville Food Pantry. The menu will include the traditional oyster stew, bean soup, cornbread, drinks and pie.
